The library has free or reduced price passes to area attractions and musuems.  See the list below, along with details for each. Please call ahead to make sure your passes are available for the day you'd like them.


Castle in the Clouds

Valid for the 2021 season: Daily May 29th - October 24th. 

Hours of operation: 10:00 am - 5:30 pm. The mansion closes early on days that weddings are taking place on the property. See the website for more information.

Pass is valid for the free admission of one adult and one youth and a 50% admission discount for one adult and one youth. The pass is not valid for special events.

Regular admission for 2021 season is: Adults (18+) $18; Seniors (65+) $15.00; youth (age 5-17) $10; Children (age 4 and under) free; Veterans $13; Active Military Free. Tickets for the Mansion tour are sold at front gate until 3:00 pm; in gift shop until 4:00 pm while supplies last.

Activities:

  • Tour the 1914 Arts and Crafts mansion named to the National Register of Historic Places 
  • Hear the fascinating stories of its owner, retired shoe manufacturer Thomas Plant, and his wife Olive, and the estate staff
  • Take in the spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossipee Mountains
  • Stroll through the magnificent gardens
  • Enjoy lunch on the terrace or in the picnic grove, or an ice cream cone in the meadow
  • Walk or hike the 28 miles of trails and view the striking waterfalls
  • Feed the trout in Shannon Lake
  • Find souvenirs and many unique artisans' items in the gift shop

Children's Museum of NH

This membership card entitles the bearer to REDUCED ADMISSION of 50% off up to four regular paid admissions to The Children's Museum of NH (additional guests pay the regular admission rate; all children under the age of one are free).

2021 Summer Hours: Open daily July 1 - August 31, 10:30 am -4:00 pm. 
Valid: 3/5/2021 - 9/30/2021.

Free admission to the Exhibit Galleries for four people. There is an additional charge for planetarium shows. Two passes per day.

Passes are not accepted during special events such as AerospaceFest, nor are they accepted for member only events.

Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum Education & Cultural Center

6 passes available per day. Each single pass card admits a group of people up to four or a family of adults and their children any day except on days when special events are being held. Pass says admits one, please disregard.Passes may be reserved by phone or email and picked up at the library. 

This is a laminated pass which must be checked out with your library card and returned to the library. The card checks out for 3 days.

Pass valid: 5/1/2021 - 10/31/2021, Monday - Saturday: 10am to 5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm.
November-April by appointment only. 

Due to COVID restrictions, please call the museum in advance to book your time.


NH State Parks

Sponsored by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.

The NH State Parks Library Pass is valid for two adults and up to four dependents to enter any day-use state park for free.

The pass is not valid at Hampton Beach State Park and Wallis Sands State Beach, the Flume Gorge or the Cannon Mountain Tramway, and cannot be used for camping or parking meters. 

Reservation required with park pass:
Visitors with pre-paid or discounted access to NH State Parks are encouraged to make online reservations as well. When making a reservation you can indicate that you are a pass/parks plate holder on your order details page and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However there will still be a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system. In the case that those with pre-paid or discounted access choose not to purchase a day use pass or parking pass reservation, we will be setting aside a limited number of parking spaces for pre-paid and discounted access based upon historical use. This does not guarantee space will be available when you arrive at the park.


Petals in the Pines

No limit on passes per day. The library only has 20 single-use passes, reserve by phone or email and pick up at the library. 
Hours: 9am-6pm

Pass valid: 6/1/2021 - October 31, 2021. Closed on September 30. Check the calendar on their website to be sure there are no private events sceduled. The Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom is not available during Private Events but the trails will remain open.

The library pass admits a family (Petals in the Pines does not charge adult admission) to walk the Tale Trail. Follow the pages of a nature story along the woodland trails, reading the pages as you go. Guests may also enjoy our Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom open-play areas, walk our labyrinths, and explore any other marked trails on the property. 

Upon arrival: Go to the porch on our Farm Stand and you'll find the Tale Trail instructions posted on the wall. Leave the paper pass in the cash box.


Seacoast Science Center

Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 4 children or grandchildren into the Seacoast Science Center at 50% off the cost of regular admission. Pass holder receives a 10% discount in the Nature Store.

We cannot guarantee this library pass includes the State Park admission. Please present this pass at the Park toll both, but be aware that from April-September a park fee of $4.00 per adult (12-adult) and $2 per child (6-11) may be imposed. Pass holders will always get into the Seacoast Science Center at a 50% discount with a library membership pass.

The library pass is only valid for the date listed on the pass. 
The library pass is valid for up to four $10.00 trail admissions every day during the 2021 trail season.

Strawbery Banke

Two membership cards are available for checkout. The checkout period is 3 days. Cards can be reserved (like other library material) for pick up in the library's online catalog, by phone, and/or email and picked up at the library. Cards may not be booked in advance.

Season: Valid until 5/31/2022. Tours run from June 19th - October 17th.

Hours: 10am-5pm

The membership pass grants you:

  • Unlimited free daily admission for two adults and up to four children from June 19 - October 17. 
  • Free admission to special events, including Candlelight Stroll, Ghosts on the Banke, and Baby Animals.
  • Half price ice skating tickets at Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Duck Pond (seasonal).
