The Belmont Public Library has a remarkable history of generosity. The Duffy brothers’ gift provided the historic building that has served our community for nearly a century, along with support that continues to help maintain it today. Their legacy is found in the countless opportunities for learning, discovery, and connection that their generosity has made possible.

Now, as we work toward expanding the library to meet the needs of our growing and changing community, we invite you to help carry that legacy forward.

Through the Legacy Builders campaign, donors can make a lasting contribution to the library’s future while receiving permanent recognition on a specially designed donor display in the expanded building.

A Legacy That Grows

Our Legacy Builders recognition display will feature a tree with gold, silver, and copper colored leaves representing the generosity of our supporters. Platinum donors will be recognized on foundation blocks beneath the tree, symbolizing their role in building the foundation for the library’s future.

Each leaf and foundation block will bear the approved name of a donor or someone they wish to honor or remember.
