Future Builders
You don’t have to be an adult to help build the future!
The Future Builders campaign invites children and teens to become part of Belmont Public Library’s next chapter. By raising money for the library expansion, young supporters can make a real difference in their community while earning special rewards.
No matter how much or how little you raise, every contribution brings us closer to creating a library with more room for programs, people, and community connections!
How It Works
- Sign up! Register as a Future Builder and receive your own fundraising kit with information, ideas, and a personal QR code that allows online donations.
- Spread the word! Share your QR code with friends, family, and others who would like to support your efforts. Donations made using your code count toward your fundraising total.
- Get creative! Raise money through projects, challenges, chores, or other activities you enjoy.
- Reach your goals! Earn recognition and special rewards as your fundraising total grows.
Fundraising Milestones
Every Future Builder who raises at least $100 will earn a permanent place on the adult’s Legacy Builders display. Additional milestones bring even more ways to become part of the expansion!

Rewards are cumulative! Each new milestone includes the rewards from all previous levels.
Fun Ways to Fundraise
There are lots of ways to help, and you can choose something that fits your interests!
- Get Creative: Sell crafts, artwork, baked goods, or homemade treats.
- Lend a Hand: Rake leaves, shovel snow, wash cars, walk dogs, or do extra chores.
- Take a Challenge: Ask people to sponsor your reading, walking, biking, music practice, or screen-free time.
- Collect & Save: Set aside part of your allowance, save spare change, or organize a yard sale.
- Ask for Support: Share your donation QR code, request birthday donations, or ask someone to match what you raise.
