It’s the largest unsolved art heist of the past fifty years, and Clare Roth, a struggling young artist, is about to discover that sometimes a painting is not what it seems to be. I’m fascinated by the Isabella Stewart Gardner theft and the fact that no one has seen any of those artworks again. This story proposes a solution to the mystery that I find ingenious.
