Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

By Gail Honeyman

GET READY TO LAUGH OUT LOUD!

Gail Honeyman has brought a quirky, loveable character to life in the name of Eleanor Oliphant. Eleanor has depth: her life has not been all fun and games. She has suffered–welcome to the human race–and her experiences have colored the way she sees the world and has limited her interactions with others. Eleanor does not have any friends.

Eleanor interacts with a colleague at work and a friendship slowly develops. This relationship enables Eleanor to transcend her past and to embrace others, discover joy in living and to make peace with herself.

Published in 2017, this is Honeyman’s debut novel.

Note: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine was shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish College Fiction Prize.
